Washington State Certification Renewal Requirements
To maintain the validity of the continuing certificate, 150 clock hours of continuing education study and/or equivalent academic credit must be completed every five years, and reported using Form SPI/CERT 1211.

For those who hold a certificate from the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards (NBPTS) present a copy of the NBPTS certificate with Form SPI/CERT 1211.
