Adams State University
Since its cornerstone was laid in 1925, Adams State University has grown from a teachers’ college into a fine liberal arts college. Today, students can earn a bachelor’s degree in any of 16 majors, with 28 minors and emphases. Adams State University is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. Adams State University Extended Studies delivers to students many of the same high-quality courses and programs offered on campus using the flexibility of distance delivery. Extended Studies connects with more than 12,000 students with over 22,000 enrollments, and 1,300 instructors globally to provide quality learning and teaching opportunities.
Adams State University is on a semester-based system and offers graduate-level professional development credit for all CE Credits Online courses (500 level) and the cost per credit is $55. Students must have a bachelor’s degree to be eligible. All credit requests must be submitted and paid for within two weeks upon completion of your course.
IMPORTANT NOTE: As of August 1, 2024, Adams State University switched to a new operating system. With the implementation of the new system, there may be potential delays in processing times across all departments. This means that transcripts for Fall 2024 and later are also delayed.
As they transition to the new process, they are recommending that students register and pay for credits at least one month prior to needing their transcripts. They are adding new courses to their registration page daily and plan to have all courses added for the Fall 2024 semester within the next month. If you don’t see the course you are registering for, please check back again frequently. Thank you for your patience as they make this transition!
To Register for Adams State University Credits:
- If you are completed with your course and included an Adams State University credit request with your course purchase, begin your registration payment at Register for Adams State University Credits.
- Click “LOGIN/CREATE ACCOUNT” (in the top navigation bar). If you haven’t already created an account, you will need to do so by clicking “Create New Profile”. If you already have an account, select “Student” as the User Type and sign in with your username and password.
- Once you are logged in, select the “Professional Development Credit Through Our Educational Partners” option from the left side of the screen and then choose CE Credits Online from the drop-down options.
- Find the course you are purchasing credits for and click “Add to Cart”. If you are registering for multiple courses, you can add them all to the cart before checking out. The Registration fee is $60 per credit.
- Once your registration and payment are complete, you will receive an email confirming the purchase.
- Once your grade has been reported and processed, you will have access to an Unofficial Transcript on your Adams State University account. When you see this, it’s an indicator that you can now order your Official Transcripts from Parchment. You should receive transcripts from Parchment within 24 hours.
Adams State University will no longer be providing initial complimentary paper copies of transcripts.
