Courses & Enrollment

We offer graduate-level professional development credit, continuing education courses for K-12 teachers to meet re-certification, state licensure, salary schedule, and other professional development needs.

Credit: Courses are offered through our regionally-accredited partners: Adams State University, Humboldt State University, Augustana University, and Valley City State University.

Yes, our courses are designed to be completed at any time of the year whether you are in or out of the classroom. All assignments have alternatives for those not currently teaching.

You’ll have up to 180 days (6 months) from the date of purchase to complete your course.

We offer 30-day extensions for all courses that have expired. You may purchase as many 30-day extensions as you need, however, your course must be completed within 1 year from the date of purchase, and extensions are no longer available if you have not completed your course within the 1-year time period. Our courses are often updated and revised, some are retired, and, as a result, we cannot allow unlimited extensions for our courses, since some may change significantly or cease to exist.

For 2-Credit (30-hour) and 3 Credit (45-hour) courses, the extension fee is $50. For 1-credit (15-hour) courses, the fee is $30. To purchase an extension, go to "My Account" once your course has expired.

You may be able to use the Certificate for recertification or salary advancement. However, you must verify with your district that they will accept the Certificate for these purposes. You may need to provide a syllabus as well to get approval. This is available for each course.

You’ll create your account during your first enrollment. To sign in to your existing account or to access your eClassroom, click the “Sign In” button. From the drop-down, you may select to view either your eClassroom or “My Account”

If your course is expired or if you don’t have any active courses in your account, you will receive an error that states “Oops! It looks like you haven’t yet enrolled. Please view available courses in your area to complete your enrollment. If you need assistance, please contact us at support@cecreditsonline.org

We offer graduate-level professional development credit, continuing education courses for K-12 teachers to meet re-certification, state licensure, salary schedule, and other professional development needs. All successful course completions receive a Certificate of Completion that includes the course name, date of completion, and number of hours (15, 30, or 45).

University Credit: Graduate-Level Professional Development Credits are provided through our regionally-accredited partners: Adams State University, Augustana University, Humboldt State University, and Valley City State University.

If you’ve purchased your course in the last 15 days and have not submitted any assignments, we will refund your tuition, less a $30 per course processing fee. Please contact our office at support@cecreditsonline.org.

You must check with your district to ensure the credits received will meet your specific requirements. We will not be held responsible if your school, district or state does not accept the credits issued. Refunds will not be given if your credit is not accepted by your school, district or state.

All course materials are available online at CE Credits Online and you may access them 24/7.

If you did not purchase your credits at the time of enrollment and later decide that you need them, you will need to pay the additional university credit fees. These fees vary depending on the university. You can find university fees in “My Account”.

There are no additional material fees.

While we offer regionally-accredited graduate-level professional development courses and some district-specific courses, you must always check with your school, district, or state to verify approval of our courses. We will not be held responsible if your school, district or state does not accept the credits issued.

Yes, you can as our courses are designed to be taken at any time. You may need to find a partner to work with for some of the exercises, and/or children on whom to practice some of the techniques.

Our 3 credit courses are designed to take 45 hours of coursework to complete. However, the actual time varies on your prior knowledge, how quickly you acquire new information/concepts, and your commitment to completing the course assignments. Our courses are meant to be flexible and work within your schedule.

CE Credits Online does not set a limit to how many courses you may be active in or complete at a time. Please check with your school or district, as they may set limits.

Note: Your school or district may limit the number of credits you can receive per term.

  • 1 credit = 15 hours
  • 2 credits = 30 hours
  • 3 credits = 45 hours

Full payment is required at the time of enrollment. If you have a purchase order, please fax this to 425.844.4164 and we will allow you to begin your course prior to payment.

Professional development courses do not qualify for student loans.

We do not send out 1098-T forms. Please contact us if you need a copy of your receipt.

NYC DOE ASPDP Course

To be eligible for P Credits or CTLE Hours, you must be completed with your course by the end of the NYC DOE ASPDP term. To see these date, please go to: Our ASPDP courses and information

All CE Credits Online NYC P credit courses are 45 hours / 3 P credits or 15 hours/ 1 P credit.

You may take up to 4 courses per term.

NYC DOE ASPDP courses are available for a pass/fail grade.

This is a 2 step process. You must register for each course with the NYC DOE ASPDP and enroll in each course. If you do not complete both steps, you will not be eligible for your P Credits.

Your course will be graded within 48 hours of submitting your written portion of the final exam. CE Credits Online will report your status of pass/fail within 2 weeks of the close of the NYC DOE term.

Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD)

CE Credits Online offers courses that are available for 1, 2 or 3 Salary Points.

  • 112.5 Hours (3 Salary Points)

No. Your completion paper work will be submitted directly to LAUSD Professional Development Unit by CE Credits Online along with the NA Claim for Staff Development Point Project form on or about the 1st of the month following your completion.

PLEASE DO NOT SUBMIT ADDITIONAL PAPERWORK If you decide to request university academic credits for your completed course, the official transcript you receive from the university will be for your own personal records. You may only submit the course for Salary Points once and we submit all the paperwork necessary for you to receive your Salary Points.

ATTENTION: Salary point credit approval for NA Forms is done by the Professional Development Unit and may take up to 3 months to process. The delay in processing your salary points will not affect the eligibility date of your schedule advancement, as they are backdated to the date of completion. If the points from your NA Form have not been posted to your account on the LAUSD website at the end of 3 months, please contact the Salary Allocation Unit at 213-241-5100.

You may be active in up to 4 courses at any one time. You may only submit up to 12 Salary Points from CE Credits Online per trimester by agreement with LAUSD. (Jan,-Apr, May- Aug, Sept-Dec).

You will receive a pass/fail unless you choose to request university credits.

Your course will be complete once all coursework has been graded and your time log has been reviewed and approved. Please allow up to 48 hours from the time of submission for this to occur.

Shop Pay

No, there are no late fees if you miss scheduled payment.

When checking out with Shop Pay, you now have the option to pay now or later. Paying in installments on Shop Pay allows you to split your purchase amount into four equal, biweekly installment payments with 0% APR, or monthly installments with no hidden or late fees*.

To request a refund, contact the store where you purchased your item. Using their return policy, the store will advise if a return is possible. If a return is possible, then the store will advise how much the refunded amount will be. After your refund is processed, the refund amount will be applied to your original payment method within 3-10 business days and your balance will be updated.

If your refund is less than your total purchase balance, then it might not lower your next payment. Instead, you can expect fewer payments, a smaller final payment, or both.

If your refund is more than your purchase balance, then the difference is returned to your original payment method within 3-10 business days.

If your order is made with interest payments, then the paid interest isn't refunded. When you make payments, the funds are first applied to the accrued unpaid interest and then to the principal. Interest is the cost of borrowing, and isn't refundable.

For non-interest bearing orders, debit and credit cards are accepted through Shop Pay. For interest bearing orders, you can only pay using a debit card.
