How to get your Pre-Approved LAUSD Salary Points
Earn LAUSD salary points with CE Credits Online. Our courses are JSPCC pre-approved for LAUSD school teachers, and we submit the required paperwork on your behalf.
CE Credits Online courses are pre-approved by the JSPCC (Joint Salary Point Credit Committee), the body that oversees salary point approvals for LAUSD. Salary points count toward advancement on the LAUSD salary table — completing as few as 3–6 courses can move a teacher to the next salary level. We submit all required paperwork directly to LAUSD's Professional Development Unit after you finish your course.

Important things to know
-
No additional paperwork is required from you.
Please do not submit anything separately—this can delay or interfere with processing. -
Processing can take up to 3 months.
Salary points are typically posted and show as "Pending" on your MyPLN account within 4 weeks but may take up to 3 months to be issued depending on LAUSD processing times. -
Points are backdated to your completion date.
Even if processing takes time, your salary advancement date will not be affected. -
Your certificate of completion is for your records only.
You do not need to submit it to LAUSD. -
We recommend checking your salary point balance before and after completion.
Check your current total before starting your course, then check again about 3 months after your completion paperwork has been submitted. LAUSD does not identify which coursework added the points, so this helps you confirm when your new salary points are posted.
